Planted, a Cologne, Germany-based GreenTech startup, raised €5M in funding.
Backers included TechVision Fonds, WENVEST Capital, neoteq ventures, AWS Gründungsfonds and Smart Infrastructure Ventures, as well as angels Nina Kani, Felix Schürholz, Frank Piotraschke, Arno Nonnen and Julius Göllner.
The company intends to use the funds to further develop the ESG software.
Founded in 2021 by Wilhelm Hammes, Cindy Schüller, Heinrich Rauh, and Jan Borchert, Planted is advancing an AI platform that offers full Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) management.
The company serves over 350 companies, including Caritasverband Bruchsal, Senacor Technologies AG and Insta GmbH, among others.
