VideaHealth, a Boston, MA-based dental AI company, raised $40M in Series B funding.
The round was led by Emily Melton, with participation from Avenir Ventures, BAM Ventures, and existing investors Spark Capital, Zetta Venture Partners, and Pillar VC.
The company intends to use the funds to scale its AI platform, expand partnerships, and introduce innovative tools to meet the demand for AI driven solutions from DSOs and individual dentists.
Led by CEO and Founder Florian Hillen, VideaHealth provides a AI-powered platform that is used by dental professionals across North America to analyze millions of patients annually, supporting clinicians in identifying and treating critical dental conditions. It offers insights for virtually every disease state in dentistry, including pediatric conditions, enabling clinicians to streamline administrative tasks and focus more on delivering optimal patient care with greater detail and insights into their dental health.
In 2024, the company announced collaborations with the largest DSOs in North America, including Heartland Dental in the U.S. and DentalCorp in Canada. These organizations along with other dental groups and offices are accelerating their AI efforts with its solutions.
