Semgrep, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of an application security platform, raised $100M in Series B funding.
The round, which brought the total amount to $204M, was led by Menlo Ventures, with participation from existing investors including Felicis Ventures, Harpoon Ventures, Lightspeed Venture Partners, Redpoint Ventures, and Sequoia Capital.
The company intends to use the funds to hire AI and program analysis talent to extend its competitive edge and to increase its product offering.
