NovoLINC, a Pittsburgh, PA-based thermal technology startup spun out of Carnegie Mellon University, raised an undisclosed amount in Seed funding.
The round was led by M Ventures, with participation from Foothill Ventures and TDK Ventures.
The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its business reach.
Led by CEO Dr. Ning Li, NovoLINC specializes in thermal interface solutions. The company has developed a nanostructured materials system and proprietary manufacturing process to improve thermal management for high-performance computing, data centers, automobile, aerospace and power electronics.
The founders of NovoLINC have also received grant funding from the U.S. National Science Foundation’s Partnerships for Innovation and ARPA-E’s COOLERCHIPS Programs.
