These inventions have resulted in François-Paul Journe being complimented with some of the most prestigious horological awards throughout the world – namely 7 distinctions at the GPGH in Geneva (including 3 of the “Golden Hand” awards; the ultimate recognition for a watchmaker), along with numerous “Watch of the Year” distinctions in Japan, China, Switzerland and Mexico. François-Paul Journe was also decorated with the title of “Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres” by the French Minister of Culture in 2006.
