Candid Health, a San Francisco, CA-based company developing an autonomous revenue cycle automation platform for healthcare providers, raised $52.5M in Series C funding.
The round, which brought the total amount to $99.5M, was led by Oak HC/FT with participation from existing investors.
The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its development efforts.
Led by Nick Perry (CEO), Doug Proctor (COO) and Adam Reis, Candid provides a platform that addresses the root cause of RCM inefficiency through data engineering and automation. The revenue cycle platform leverages advanced automation to decrease the cost to collect and increase net collection rates. It also increases the number of claims submitted correctly the first time, eliminating avoidable, manual work for billing teams.
It is used by more than 200 healthcare organizations.
