Berry Street, a NYC-based provider of a nutrition counseling platform, raised $50M in funding.

Backers included Northzone, Sofina, FJ Labs, and tech founders from Revolut, Spring Health, Grow Therapy, and Found, amongst others. 

The company intends to use the funds to expand its platform already serving thousands of dietitians and growing.

Founded by Noah Kotlove and Jesse Rose, Berry Street is dedicated to connecting patients with dietitians for 1-on-1 counseling covered by health insurance.

The company already has a network of over 1,000 registered dietitians, ranging from individual specialists to large group practices, and partnerships with insurance providers nationwide, including Aetna, Anthem, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, and several Blue Cross Blue Shield affiliates. 

The platform also partners with large enterprises such as WeightWatchers and Mayo Clinic Diet to reach a wider audience with its care model and will further expand into other channels such as payers and employers.
