Anguleris, a Elgin, IL-based construction technology company, has completed the acquisition of Concora Spec, a provider of a product specification platform formerly known as SmartBIM.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
The acquisition will integrate Concora’s team, technology, and products with the Anguleris portfolio of brands, further extending its global leadership in BIM and specification solutions.
Led by CEO Eric Snyder, Concora helps building product manufacturers to get their building materials specified for use in commercial construction projects. With Concora Spec, manufacturers can provide a simplified buyer’s journey that meets the stringent requirements of commercial design professionals (architects, engineers, and contractors).
Led by Benjamin Glunz, Founder and CEO, Anguleris specializes in construction technology enabling product manufacturers and building professionals to work together. Products include:
- BIMsmith®, a product research platform and BIM content resource for building professionals;
- Swatchbox®, the building material sample fulfillment platform for the construction industry; and
- Modlar®, the architectural inspiration and discovery platform.
